How To Read Guitar Tabs - Tab Symbols 2
Learn how to read guitar tabs with this free lesson. On this page I'll show Vibrato, Wide Vibrato, Hammer On, Pull Off and Legato Slide. Check out the rest of the Tab Symbols pages to learn what the other symbols mean.

Vibrato - Pick the note and the rapidly bend and release the note. |

Wide Vibrato - Pick the note and rapidly bend and release the note to a greater extent. |

Hammer On - Pick the 1st note and then fret the 2nd note without picking it. |

Pull Off - Fret both notes indicated. Pick the 1st note and then pull your finger off leaving the 2nd note fretted. Don't pick the 2nd note. |

Legato Slide - Pick the 1st note and then slide to the 2nd note. Don't pick the 2nd note. |
